ECS was founded in the early 90s, based on the experience of Total Quality Management implementation at Eicher. The initial focus was on Quality Improvement and Change Management. In late 90's ECS started consulting in the area of Total Productive Maintenance through its association with WCS International. The focus was on improving equipment reliability through autonomous & planned maintenance.
Subsequently, ECS added Six Sigma to its consulting practice through its association with Motorola University. The focus was on achieving breakthrough improvements, variability reduction and optimisation. Over the last few years, ECS has developed a comprehensive Lean Manufacturing implementation approach and applied it in a variety of engineering as well as process industries.
ECS provides end-to-end consulting solutions to clients across industries in the manufacturing as well as the services sectors.
Our experience ranges across industries such as Automotive, Steel, Cement, Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Petroleum, Oil & Lubricants, Paper & Pulp, Food, FMCG, Banks, Insurance, Hotels, among several others.
We have worked with some of biggest names in corporate India, delivering value in the areas of manufacturing and operations.
ECS partners its clients from concept to implementation. Our interventions have resulted in significant reductions in turnaround time and cost along with increased productivity and process reliability, yielding benefits to the tune of 1-3% of turnover.
Our intervention begins with a study of the as-is situation to identify opportunities for improvement, potential roadblocks and prioritize. Thereafter, the Lean Manufacturing methodology is deployed to improve Product Flow and Order Flow. Total Productive Maintenance is the tool used for Basic Stability and Six Sigma is the tool used for Perfection.
