Manufacturing >> Expertise >> Production Stability
Every Organization would like to move towards a paradigm of continous material flow and ensure that the value stream delivery achieves stability both in terms of the continuous production of the material and ensuring minimal stable inventory levels. ECS helps organizations in the implementation, acheivement and sustenance of production stability by improving basic stability of production processes and introducing flow of material movement along the entire value chain.
Various objectives considered during this exercise are -
For the Production Processes: OEE, MTBR, MTTR, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, Reliability, Safety, Cost and Morale
For the Supply Chain: OTIF (On Time In Full), Lead times, Changeover Turns, Inventory Turns, % Value added time, etc.
TPM and Continuous Material Flow philosophies are used to acheive this stability. The implementation framework includes exercises on 5S, rightsizing of production and logistic assets, SMED, Rapid Maintenance, Jidoka, Poka-yoke, Andon, Heijunka, Autonomous and Condition Based Maintenance, Productoin flow Kanban, Visual Displays and Controls, and other techniques that ensure standardization, sustenance and capability building.
