The ECS Vendor Management helps a company traverse the entire ground from the adversarial, inspection-oriented, crisis management approach to achieving flow in the in-bound value stream characterized by partnerships, assurance orientation and synchronous, sequenced, multi-model, multi-locational supplies.
The approach would cover aspects related to vendor classifications, vendor appraisals, vendor quality assessments, share of business models and extension of the lean production system to vendors. The ultimate aim being that of securing supplies to match the order fulfillment cycle.
